Armaan: Quite, and a workaholic. Goes on blind dates his mother sets up, But every woman he met saw the money but not him. Sharp and Brilliant. He comes in as an alpha male; one look at the FMC and he’s no longer an alpha male.
Kaira: Independent, emotionally guarded, and has her priorities in life set. Believes in hard work and self-dependence.
Supporting Characters: The mother’s role the author has penned very carefully, never letting a mother’s emotions be overshadowed by their wit and humour. perfectly penned.
Friends’ group: It is exactly the way it should be. You never know who becomes your friend, and an irreplaceable one at that. This group of friends are selfless, loving chaotic, loyal, and entertaining.
The plot
Armaan and Kaira opposed marriage for their own reasons. Armaan had grown weary of those who saw him as their unending source of wealth; he was striving to prevent future outbursts and interruptions from his work. Kaira, having seen her mother’s failed marriage, decided against it. But will the mothers agree with their kids? Never, both in the real world and in the realm of fiction, will they agree. So the meddling mothers thought, ‘Marry them off, and then everything will be okay with time.’ What happened next??? Will Kaira and Armaan still think of spending their lives together or walk away? It’s not what you think; there are very unexpected twists in this plot. The reason I say this is an unusual story.

The author’s writing style is exceptional. Words like ‘marriage’, ‘contract’, and ‘traumatised past’ make the book seem intense and serious and, most importantly, very common, but the storyline is unique. . and then the entertainment. Be it the husband wife, banter, friends support, the author balances this with a touch of fun. I loved that.
This book also conveys that, regardless of how much we mature both professionally and physically, we ultimately seek our mother’s comfort, support, and solutions to our problems. MAA akhir MAA hoti hai.”

Roohanee is a wonderful author. Her writing style is simple, flows continuously, is entertaining, and beautifully expresses the emotions. Although this work is her first book, it doesn’t feel like one. She has a way with words; her quotes are always the ones highlighted.
